Our Privacy Promise

Aidra is built on data minimization and consent‑based sharing. Seniors should receive care without feeling surveilled. Families and care teams should know what's collected and why.

1. Who this policy applies to

  • Seniors/End Users who interact with the voice hub, wearable, or sensors.
  • Family Members who use the Family View/web or mobile apps.
  • Caregivers/Providers who use the Care Console and related tools.
  • Website visitors to aidra.health and related domains.

If you are a provider or organization using Aidra with your residents/clients, additional terms (e.g., a Data Processing Addendum and, where applicable, a Business Associate Agreement) may apply.

2. Summary (TL;DR)

What we collect

Account info, device/sensor data, voice interactions, wellness signals (non‑medical), and usage logs to deliver and improve the Services.

What we don't do

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for third‑party behavioral ads.

Your control

You control who sees your information (family, caregivers, providers). You can access, correct, export, and delete your data.

Audio processing

Audio can be processed on‑device or in a private cloud. Full audio retention is off by default unless you opt in.

3. Information we collect

A) Information you provide

  • • Account details (name, email, phone), relationship (e.g., daughter, caregiver), and emergency contacts
  • • Profile preferences (language, voice pace/volume), consent settings, and escalation contacts/order
  • • Communications with us (support requests, feedback) and content you submit (e.g., family photos/messages for Memory Moments)

B) Information from devices and sensors

  • Voice hub: wake‑word events (e.g., “Help”), brief interaction transcripts, device status, diagnostics
  • Wearables: heart rate, step/motion data, sleep/wake patterns, fall‑detection signals
  • Home sensors (optional): motion presence, open/close events, sound anomaly flags (not full audio recordings by default)
  • Environment/telemetry: Wi‑Fi strength, battery/power status, firmware/app versions, error logs

Health note: Aidra captures wellness indicators to support care. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or treatment.

C) Information from caregivers and providers

Visit logs, task completion (e.g., medication given), observations/notes, and schedules.

4. How we use information (purposes)

Provide the Services

Authenticate users, deliver reminders, detect anomalies, trigger alerts, and show summaries

Safety & support

Act on “Help” events, escalate per your configured contact chain, and provide guided reassurance

Improve and personalize

Tune reminders and schedules, recognize engagement patterns, and enhance accessibility

Security & compliance

Audit logs, intrusion detection, abuse prevention, and meet legal obligations

6. How we share information

We share information only as described below:

  • With your circle of care: family members, caregivers, and providers you or your organization designate
  • Service providers: cloud hosting, analytics, communications, and customer support vendors bound by confidentiality
  • Integrations: with third‑party systems (e.g., provider IT/EHR) at your or your organization's direction
  • Legal & safety: to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security
  • Business transfers: in a merger, financing, or acquisition, subject to this Policy

We do not sell personal information. We do not permit third parties to use your data for their independent advertising.

Choose who can view alerts and summaries; revoke access anytime

Voice & audio

Choose local vs. cloud processing; audio retention is off by default

Device controls

Physical mic/privacy switch, Do‑Not‑Disturb, escalation order, alert sensitivity

15. Your privacy rights

Your rights depend on your location and applicable law.

  • Right to know/access what we collect and how we use it
  • Right to delete personal information (with some exceptions)
  • Right to correct inaccuracies
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information
