Our agreement for using Aidra's services

Plain‑Language Summary

Aidra is a wellness and safety companion. It supports daily health, helps detect concerns, and alerts caregivers/family. It is not a medical device and not an emergency service. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

1. Who may use the Services

  • Adults (18+) may create accounts. Family members and caregivers may create or manage accounts for an older adult with appropriate permission or authority.
  • • Organizational customers (e.g., care agencies, communities) must have a valid agreement with Aidra. Admins are responsible for user management and role assignment.

2. Description of the Services

Aidra combines passive health/wellness monitoring (via wearables and optional sensors) with a voice‑first assistant and dashboards for families and care teams. Core features may include reminders, check‑ins, alerts, summaries, and trend views. Feature availability can vary by plan, device, and region.

3. Not medical advice; emergencies

Important Medical Disclaimer

  • • The Services are not a medical device and do not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Aidra is for wellness support only.
  • • Aidra does not replace professional judgment of clinicians or caregivers. Always follow the advice of qualified professionals.
  • • In case of a medical emergency or risk of harm, call emergency services immediately.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and auto‑renewal

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled before the renewal date.

Free Trials

If offered, trials convert to paid plans unless canceled before the trial ends.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time in your account settings; your plan remains active through the current billing period.

Refunds

Refunds are provided only where required by law or expressly stated in your order form.

6. Hardware: lease, purchase, and returns

Lease

If you lease devices from Aidra, they remain Aidra's property. You agree to reasonable care, return upon cancellation, and payment of any non‑returned or damaged equipment fees described in your order form.

Purchase

If you purchase devices, title passes on shipment. Unless stated otherwise, hardware carries a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the period specified in your order (normal wear, misuse, and accidents excluded).

Updates & Connectivity

  • • Devices may automatically install updates for security, reliability, or improvements
  • • You are responsible for providing suitable power and internet/cellular service where required

7. License and acceptable use

License

Subject to these Terms, Aidra grants you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use our apps and device software solely to access the Services.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • • Use the Services for unlawful purposes
  • • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or safety features
  • • Access or use the Services in a manner that could harm, disrupt, or burden networks or other users
  • • Reverse engineer components except to the extent permitted by law
  • • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
  • • Use the Services to surveil without consent
  • • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties without permission

12. Safety limitations and disclaimers

Important Safety Notice

No wellness or safety system can detect or prevent all incidents (e.g., falls, health events, emergencies). Aidra relies on sensors, connectivity, and configured contacts. You are responsible for ensuring correct setup, testing, and keeping contact information current.

15. Disclaimers

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED, THE SERVICES AND HARDWARE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” AIDRA AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR‑FREE, OR THAT ALL INCIDENTS WILL BE DETECTED OR PREVENTED.

16. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AIDRA AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: (A) INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; (B) LOSS OF USE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR PROFITS; OR (C) DAMAGES EXCEEDING THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO AIDRA FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITS; THOSE LIMITS APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.

18. Dispute resolution; arbitration; class waiver

Informal Resolution

Contact support@aidra.care first; we'll try to resolve disputes informally.

Binding Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Class Action Waiver

You and Aidra agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis; class, consolidated, or representative actions are not permitted.
